ambient music (n.): good for homework, falling asleep, waking up, getting dressed, getting undressed, deep thinking, not thinking at all, and pretty much everything in between.
brian eno (n.): 1. artist, producer, master sound manipulator, god. he coined the phrase ‘ambient music’ and was behind the boards for some of the best albums made by David Bowie, Talking Heads, Devo, and U2 .
2. famous for his unusual yet strategic approach to music-making as he is more likely to draw a diagram than writing down chord changes.

listen to ‘The Big Ship’ and tell me synonyms of words like ‘epic’ don’t come to mind. how do you describe something this good?
